Trina Mead
Ms. Mead is a career New York State employee with thirty years of service. Beginning with New York State Attorney General Robert Abrams, she served in a number of administrative capacities within the administrations of Attorneys General G. Oliver Koppell; Dennis C. Vacco; Eliot Spitzer; and Andrew M. Cuomo. Her positions at the New York State Office of Attorney General included Director of Administrative Services as well as Deputy Director of the Division of Administration. Before her appointment as CEO of the State Liquor Authority, Ms. Mead served as Deputy Commissioner for Administration under Commissioner John C. Egan at the New York State Office of General Services since March 2007. As Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Mead was responsible for the Division of Financial Administration, including Risk, Insurance and Fleet Management; Energy and Planning Procurement; the Division of Human Resources Management; MWBE and Community Outreach; Affirmative Action/EEO; Project Management; Curatorial and Tour Services; and Support Services, which includes Alternative Fueled Vehicles, State and Federal Surplus Property, Food Distribution and Warehousing, Central Printing and Copy; and Mail and Freight. Additionally, she has overseen Internal Audit, Public Information, Convention and Special Events, and Food Services at OGS. The OGS Division of Financial Administration and Human Resources Management also provide administrative hosting services to the New York State ABC, Board of Elections, Consumer Protection Board, Division of Veteran Affairs, Governor’s Office of Regulatory Reform, Office of Homeland Security, and State Emergency Management Office. Additionally, Ms. Mead acted as OGS Commissioner Egan’s designee to the Plaza Art Commission, as well as the Board of Directors of the Performing Arts Center Corporation at the Egg. She is a member of the SUNY Empire State College-wide Safety Committee, and has served on the New York State Work-Life Services Board, which oversees the New York State EAP; Flex-spending; 39 worksite child care centers; Pre-retirement seminars; NYS-Ride; and Lifeworks programs. Ms. Mead earned a B.S. in Business Management and Economics with a concentration in Public Administration from the State University of New York, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Arts in Social Policy program at SUNY Empire State College.
